For several years, small poppers like the Pop N Dog 55F have been a huge success! Their effectiveness is well established and the list of the various species caught with this type of lure continues to grow.

The arrival on the market of POP N DOG 55F quickly met the success that we expected. The latest addition to the family, with its 40 mm, is particularly suited to the search for small-mouthed fish, those which target their diet on small prey or which are subjected to strong fishing pressure. However, poppers smaller than 50 mm are rare, mainly because of the difficulties of production (balancing, sound efficiency, etc.).

Sakura took up this challenge by offering you this 40 mm version for 3.3 g, just as powerful as the 55 mm model, already very popular. These two sizes of 40 and 55 mm are perfect for all fishing where discretion is essential and when the fish should not be frightened when the lure enters the water. Indeed, their fall must resemble that of an insect or a small fruit (chub), in no way arousing the suspicion of ambushed predators. On the other hand, in open water, their power of appeal (the famous “pops”) must be very powerful despite their small size. This is what we managed to achieve with these models, outrageously effective even on depths of more than 2 m!
